» What's Your Beer Personality? Mine is Guinness of course!
You Are Guinness

You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world.
Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them.
When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well.
But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around.
What's Your Beer Personality?

The fact is that, while I do not get and drink much or often, Guinness is indeed among my favorites brews; my *most*  favorite of which is extra stout.

It just just happens however that when I did some food shopping on Saturday (March 11th) I saw a sale for a 12-pack of 11.2 ounce bottled Guinness Stout Draught and bought a case. Gave one away and, may give one or two more away, especially with St. Patrick's day right around the corner. Have managed to consume 5 bottles on my own so far and am in no rush to kill off the rest; tending to only drink a bottle here or there with either supper or a good snack, if and when I feel so inclined.

Speaking of which, it is time for some late night dinner as well as some snacking after, along with which I will drink one or two of the brews; quietly celebrating my finally writing and blogging up my review of the Hallmark Channel original movie Our House, here.

» still alive & well ...
When I have been up to it anyway, most of my blogging has been taking place on Norsehorse's Home Turf, Montpelier Matters as well as a little here and there on the Beyond VSH blog. Of course back in late January (2006) as well as part of the month of February I was keeping busy blogging on the Annual Homelessness Marathon blog too. Had not really given up or forgotten this LJ of mine, have just not been in the mood or have not had enough energy or time to do any blogging to it. Not that there is much to blog about, because there truly is not, nothing worth mentioning anyway; other than the fact that October 22nd (2005) I have been Wintering in the same place as I did last Winter.

In addition, last autumn someone gave me an old Tobisha laptop computer with wireless capability and I am able to connect online at the place I am staying at until Springtime, which is a big help and something I am very grateful for. It makes a huge difference for me.
» the rundown

Have been meaning to post here, but between not feeling so good at times, being tired often and also busy here and there, I have not always had the energy, time or inclination.

» getting too old for this ...

About a week and a half ago I left the place I was able to arrange to stay at since I had arrived back from my Rhode Island trip and was on the streets of Montpelier for what turned out to be one sleepless night and I was pretty much done in already.

» still catching up ...

Have been meaning to post an update to my last post (here) concerning my current living situation, however between not being online all that much and not feeling all that well at times, it has taken me a while to finally do so.

Anyway, the day after I blogged that particular post I was able to make arrangements to continue staying where I have been at since I came back from my visit in Rhode Island until this coming weekend and I have no a clue where I will be staying after that.

» catching up

Since I have been back in Vermont (here), I have been mostly taking it easy and have not been going into town or getting online much, except for a few times this week -- going online a bit more yesterday (Friday) and today. Have had a lot to get caught up with and I am still not quite there yet, not that I ever am really either for that matter.

Nothing more to really blog about right now, with the exception being that come Monday morning (August 1, 2005) I have absolutely nowhere to stay once I leave where I have stayed since I got back to Vermont nearly a week and a half ago (Thursday, July 21, 2005).

» back in Vermont

Am back in Vermont, having returned in the early evening from my visit in Rhode Island, but -- other than this small note -- am too busy and will my online access will be limited this weekend to be able to blog anything meaningful until sometime next week.

Check out the photo's from a recent day at the beach this week, which I quickly posted on Norsehorse's Home Turf yesterday (Thursday, July 21, 2005) prior to finally packing up my stuff for my return trip home: Summer Rhode Island Visit 2005: Day @ the Beach (Wednesday, July 20th).

» What Flavor Ice Cream Are You?

According to this particular quiz (here), I am Strawberry Ice Cream:

You Are Strawberry Ice Cream
A bit shy and sensitive, you are sweet to the core. You often find yourself on the outside looking in. Insightful and pensive, you really understand how the world works. You are most compatible with chocolate chip ice cream.

Speaking of ice cream, it is time for me to take a break, scoop a bowl full and enjoy some this evening. In fact last night I had a big bowl of (Breyers) strawberry ice cream, so tonight it is time for another favorite of mine: mint chocolate chip (also Breyers).
» Me too!

Came across this via Rael (here) and, having just taken this quiz for myself, these are my results:

Your Blogging Type is Pensive and Philosophical
You blog like no one else is reading... You tend to use your blog to explore ideas - often in long winded prose. Easy going and flexible, you tend to befriend other bloggers easily. But if they disagree with once too much, you'll pull them from your blogroll!
